World Travel operates within Sabre, our chosen Global Distribution System (GDS), which serves as the core platform our agents use to book air, car, and hotel reservations. While your travelers may book through your customized Online Booking Tool (OBT), both systems work together to support the same goal: compliant, policy-aligned travel.

Every client has a dedicated profile within our system that includes:

  • All traveler profiles
  • Detailed travel policy rules
  • Company-specific booking preferences and requirements

This ensures that whether a trip is booked by a traveler online or by an agent directly in Sabre, the same policies and parameters guide the booking process. It’s not two separate programs, it’s one integrated ecosystem supporting your travel program from different angles.

Additionally, when a booking falls outside of policy or requires an exception, both the OBT and Sabre can prompt the traveler or agent to select a reason code. These reason codes are captured and passed along for reporting, giving you added visibility and accountability across all booking channels.
